Our Story
The Brown Bag opened in Bethesda, Maryland in 2002 and became an overnight success, offering fresh, healthy ingredients in a fast, casual environment.
Today there are five Brown Bag locations in the Washington, DC metro area. Each location serves our healthy, fresh and flavorful breakfast and lunch items Monday through Friday to the residents and workers in and around the office buildings where we are located. Great food and fast service has made The Brown Bag the place to dine.
